The Journal of Ephemeral Inspiration

The Journal of Ephemeral Inspiration promises a neverending spew of pointless minutae, brilliant yet useless ideas, troublingly cruel commentary and emphatic musings on whatever shiny object happens to catch our collective eye. Always remember, hate the game, not the playa.

The J.E.I. Seal Of Approval XIII.5

If there's one thing we like here at the J.E.I. compound, it's snappy Flash animation with a retro feel. And fan mail. And offers for reciprocal links. OK, that's three things, but imagine our glee when we got a hat-trick email this weekend from Rob Hernandez, creator of Deserted.com, a super-cool Flash animation series.

In Rob's own modest words, "Deserted is a Flash animated series starring a crew of desert-dwelling critters stuck with each other in an unforgiving, desolate wasteland." Indeed. But he left out clever, smartly-designed and funny to boot.

So thanks to Rob for reading (and linking to us) and for writing in. To Deserted.com we award a special edition of our almost completely pointless J.E.I. Seal of Approval.

Well done, Rob. Insania Fragilis, Fectum Dubitabilis!
